Description

Based on the same design as our successful Mk3 VR6 Y Adaptor, this stainless steel version gets the job done for less. Fabricated from 304 stainless steel, our Y adaptor matches the size and mimics the look of the OEM fitting. Unlike the OEM fitting, our fitting is built to stand the test of time. Bead-rolled 304 stainless steel tubing provides the backbone, while CNC machined components take care of the details. The fitting is TIG welded on precision tooling and powdercoated wrinkle black for a finished look.

The price may be less, but the results are no less than equal to our aluminum Y adaptor. This alternative version is fabricated from 304 stainless steel, allowing us to manufacture these fittings in higher quantity using less material. CNC time is valuable, proven by the price difference. Aside from price, the two versions feature unique looks once installed. The fabricated version offers a stealth, OEM look while the CNC machined version offers the billet look with a CNC shine.

Whatever design you choose, rest easy knowing you'll never be the victim of a late-night coolant emergency. This particular fitting is a disaster waiting to happen, ready to break at any time. The factory replacement for this fitting is only available as a complete radiator hose, priced at over $100. Prevent this failure before it happens!
