We encourage our customers to place orders online. We strive to keep our website informative and up to date. While browsing our website you will notice two separate looks - our static website and our online storefront. By separating the two, we feel we can offer the best of both worlds to our customers. Our static website allows us to display our products to the very last detail. For each product we include lengthy descriptions, technical information, and loads of pictures. Our powerful online storefront covers the sales aspect of each product including pricing, options, shipping, and checkout information.

When viewing a product on our website, you will find a single order button. This order button will take you to the product page in our online storefront where you can configure your order, checkout or continue shopping.

When browsing our online storefront you will find a basic product picture, brief description, and all the information you need to order and checkout. Each product page in our online storefront will include a link back to the product page on our website. There you will find additional pictures, descriptions, and technical information.

Before ordering, we always recommend you read all available product descriptions and technical information. The products we manufacture and sell are considered modifications to your vehicle and should always be treated as such.

Typically, all of our products are in stock. Some of our products are 'made to order' and can take 5-15 days to ship. Any products made to order will be marked accordingly in the product description in our online storefront.

By manufacturing the majority of our product line we are able to better control our stock levels. While this keeps many of our products in permanent stock, it is not uncommon for us to have some products on backorder. Production schedules rarely allow for instant changes when a product runs out. Often forces beyond our control cause delays in production, such as outside suppliers, shipping delays, or machinery problems.

If a normally stocked product runs out and we don't foresee refilling the shelves within 2-3 days we will make note of this backorder on our news page. If we foresee a backorder lasting more than a week, we will also make note of this in the product description. If your order includes a product which is on backorder you will receive a backorder notification via email when your order is processed. Please reply to this email for an estimated shipping time, or to arrange for the bulk of your order to ship immediately.

We ask that you please have patience. In the grand scheme of things, we're a small shop. We don't have multi-million dollar production lines pumping out our products 24x7. We work regular business hours, and frequently put in overtime to keep up with the growing demand of our product line. Please don't wait to the last minute to place a time-sensitive order. If your order is time sensitive, feel free to note this in the comments section of our order form.

Canadian Customers Please Note:

Our current dealer network services Canada very well. 75% of the above dealers place orders with us twice a week. It is very likely that any of the above dealers will have what you need in stock. If they do not have what you need in stock, your specific product can be added to their weekly orders and received quickly. The majority of our Canadian dealers pay for expedited shipping in order to receive orders very quickly and reliably. By placing larger orders, they also save on import duties, taxes and customs fees. As a general rule of thumb, our dealers price our product line by adding actual import fees to our published website pricing. It is cheaper to order from a Canadian dealer than directly from 42.

Global Customers Please Note:

The international marketplace is more difficult to service than the North American marketplace. There are situations where ordering directly from 42 will be cheaper and faster than ordering through a dealer. Due to variances in currency exchanges, customs fees, import duties and taxes, the actual cost of an international order can vary in enormous amounts. In cases where ordering through our international dealer network is significantly more expensive or quality of service may be compromised, we will ship international orders direct. However, the following rules will be followed by 42 staff with absolutely no exceptions.

USPS has proven to be inconsistent and unreliable with international shipments. There is no such thing as a tracking number with USPS international services. Transit time is completely out of our hands. In the past we have had USPS international shipments take anywhere from one week to 4 months to arrive. We are not responsible whatsoever for USPS transit times. If you are hesitant to use USPS, please contact an international dealer to place your order.

All international order requests are handled on an individual basis and naturally take more time to process and ship than domestic orders. Once your order is finalized we will provide shipping rates and payment options via email.

Don't be surprised to find that shipping to your country is expensive. We absolutely insist that orders over $50 be shipped via TNT or UPS. These methods of international shipping offer fast, reliable shipping that can be tracked. We refuse to use USPS to ship international orders. USPS international shipments cannot ever be tracked. Due to lack of tracking, customs delays, and completely inconsistent service we will not use USPS to ship anything of value. We will never compromise our service to save the customer money. If you are shocked by the cost of shipping or unsure of your country's import duties, taxes and customs fees please give our international dealer network the chance to quote your order.
