Mk3 Triple & Quad Gauge Panels FINALLY Released!

I really don't know what happened with this one. I designed these gauge panels and we machined a large batch of all sizes last winter. It's been a year and they hit the site tonight. Apparently there was something stopping me from adding these to the website. Oh well, they are up and they are awesome despite my disorganization. We've been using them in our personal cars this whole time, and just the other day a quad panel went in a friend's 700whp VR turbo. Sweet.

Vacuum Manifolds Officially Released!

I can finally say the vacuum manifold project is done! Machining was the easy part really. Figuring out the tubing and fittings, then ordering them in huge quantities turned out to be the hard part. Mk3 Cat-Back Prototype Completed!

This week Kyle finished up the first prototype of our new 2.25" cat-back exhaust system for the mk3. This system is designed to fit all Mk3 cars and connects to the factory cat or our test pipe (pictured above) using the factory band clamp. Though there's probably 20+ cat-backs on the market, there's a lot that makes our cat-back different. The sound is exquisite, the build quality is second to none, and the fitment is spot-on and adjustable if needed. My car sits on a FK 60/40 kit that's 5 years old and well worn out. I tuck an inch of rim with rear passengers. 4 of us went to lunch today and the over-axle pipe never touched. Not a single exhaust rattle. Look out for further updates as we make more progress on this system.

Did I mention we got a mk5?

There's a lot I haven't publicly mentioned in the blurry picture above... like my new 07 GTI, our new Rotary Lift, and our new shop. The new shop is a 2000 sq. ft expansion we've been working on for a while. We're building it ourselves (that's what we do) so it's taking some time. Recently we finished insulating the interior so that we can work on the Mk5 without turning into ice cubes. We have a lot planned for the mk5, starting with exhaust. Stay tuned!

O2 Spacers - Prototype Batch Completed!

Our prototype batch of Oxygen Sensor Spacers is done! Plating happened waaay faster than I expected. We are going to be installing these on all the shop cars, but I would still like to send the rest out to get some broader testing done. Please email john@42draftdesigns.com for testing requirements.

Got Vacuum?

We do. Lots of it actually.

These little guys are set to release sometime this week / early next. These are the first of two vacuum manifolds we will be releasing. This version is designed for inline installation. We currently have 350 machined waiting for tubing and fittings to arrive.

New Product Progress

What's missing? A little TIG weld and some Zinc/CAD plating. Our little prototype batch is completed and at the plating shop. I am VERY happy with the way these came out. When they return we will get one on almost every car here and break out the VAG-COM. What's leftover goes out to the public. New Product Progress

I'm finally making some real progress on the O2 Sensor Spacers. Initial R&D started on these parts back in 2005. We've tested various designs since then, but have never done a production run. I'm working on a batch of ~40 which will be completed, plated, and tested in-house and by our customers. Stay tuned for further updates!
